Co-operatives Fortnight (19 June – 3 July) is a national campaign calling for people to do things differently. The initiative is being organised by Co-operatives UK and wave are being used as a case study.
We launched the fortnight locally by hosting a networking lunch at our offices in the Creative Media Centre in Hastings on 18 June, where we shared the secrets of our co-operative success with other creative businesses. Also celebrating the fortnight are two other Hastings co-operators; Trinity Wholefood and the Woodcraft folk. We are all getting together to deliver co-operative play sessions in three local primary schools (All Saints, Hastings, St Thomas’s, Winchelsea and St Peters and St Paul, Bexhill) over the next 14 days, so fingers crossed!
