Work experience

James spent last week with us on work experience before returning home to Wales. We very much enjoyed having him in the studio and wish him the best of luck for the future.

Close up of a Bluebell

Bluebells in Brede woods

Out and about in Brede woods near Battle, which are looking quite spectacular with their carpet of bluebells. You’ve still got time to catch the last of the bluebell season and the Woodland Trust have a nifty bluebell wood map to help you do just that.

Jack in the Green

We’ve been celebrating the arrival of summer, along with 20,000 or so other people, who flocked to  to Hastings this weekend for the Jack in the Green festival. We’ll put some more photos of the parade and the greening on our Tumblr.

Jack in the Green is part of Hastings’ May Day bank holiday celebrations and one currently under threat from Government proposals to move May Day to October.
