Share your photos with us

We’ve extended the submission deadline for our photography exhibition. Share your photos with us on our Facebook page or email them to us at sharing@wave.coop and we’ll put them in our exhibition, all in celebration of Co-operative Fortnight.

The W from an old Woolworths sign

Some sharp eyed wavees managed to get their hands on a W from an old Woolies sign. So it’s now being passed around the studio until it finds a suitable permanent home.

Enter our photography competition

To celebrate Co-operatives Fortnight wave is organising an exciting digital photography competition based around the idea of sharing.

We want people to capture their individual response to this universal theme. This competition is open to everyone, it’s not just for professional photographers – images taken on your mobile phone are fine. We are looking for creativity and ideas rather than technical brilliance – it’s the message that’s important.

Entering is easy, either email your photo to sharing@wave.coop or post your photo on our Facebook page – just remember to put the word Sharing in the title.

The best images will be exhibited in the F-ISH gallery, Robertson Street, Hastings. There will be three winners, one from the under-18 age group. Winners will be chosen by members of wave and will be announced at the opening of the exhibition.

The three winners will receive a professionally framed print of their photograph.

Full details are available at wave.coop/sharing

Identity design and website for Spark+Mettle

The new Spark+Mettle homepage

It’s been a busy week at wave HQ, amongst other things we’ve won some exciting new work and helped launch the new website for Spark+Mettle. We also designed their new identity too and it’s already had some really amazing feedback. Spark+Mettle is start-up organisation working with disadvantaged young people, offering help and support for getting into their chosen career. Their pilot project starts in September, visit their website to find out more.
