To run your own Brazil World Cup 2014 sweepstake click on the image above to download your free designer wall chart. It works best if you divide up the teams into multiples of 8. With plenty of Brrrrazilian flavour, the wall chart (x 2 pages) and team tickets are in Portuguese but with UK kick-off times shown.
You’ve probably already seen it (its already been up half a year!), but did you know that wave designed and managed this prestigious site?
Working with the Nicola Kelly and the team at ICA Geneva, the site celebrates the United Nations International Year of the Co-operative (IYC) by establishing a contemporary online presence, ready to reach massive new audiences with the co-op message.
Working with GreenNet developers, we planned, designed and built the site using the Drupal open-source content management system. It delivers all the functionality expected on a site which needs to present clear messages and integrate across a network of social mediums. Collaboration has given the site real substance, firstly, hosting the News Hub content which for the first time syndicated international co-operative news. Secondly, everyday of the International Year brings a full case study of a co-operative from stories.coop in Italy.
This month saw the first edition of the new redesigned multilingual eDigest newsletter enabling ICA to easily use the site to both compose and send to their massive contacts database. The site has attracted on average over twelve thousand unique visitors a month from every part of the world, using every level of technology and connection speed.
Designed and developed by wave to help assess cultural engagement from children in Kent.
It was to be used to inform and help plan education and cultural provision in the area. The challenge: to engage 10-14 year olds whilst asking them questions and we mean a lot of questions. It was tested with great success in two schools by 60 children. Sadly, the resource didn’t get the opportunity to take off the ground as the project funding ran out.

We’ve been working with the Child Accident Prevention Trust on their Child Safety Week campaign site. We’ve updated their existing WordPress site, revamped the design and also updated the design of the CAPT Shop. The site was launched last week, helping to get this year’s Child Safety Week campaign off to a flying start.
We’re really excited to be working with ITAD to create their new brand identity and website. To get the project off to a flying start we ran a branding and identity workshop at their Brighton offices to help both them and us get a better understanding of the project scope and goals.
The workshop was great fun to run, involving lots of cutting and sticking and lively discussion. Everyone was fully engaged and excited about the project and we were really impressed with the level of participation. Lots of interesting points were raised and we hope it enabled everyone involved to take ownership of the project from the start.
We are producing a series of two colour hand screen-printed posters to celebrate wave’s 25th year. Clare will be printing them on a weekly-ish basis at Hastings College and we’ve just got our hands on the first one.
