This was handed to MPs in the run up to the 2010 election as a call to use their political office to help end the global water and sanitation crisis.
The covers carried an image of dirty water with minimal information and when rolled up and inserted into a clear bottle it appeared to be full of contaminated water.
WaterAid New Year card to Prime Minister
The aim of the campaign was to highlight the fact that 2.5 billion people do not have proper access to sanitation at the Annual High-Level Meeting for Sanitation and Water in April 2010.
We created an enormous A1 sized New Year card which was delivered to 10 Downing Street as a petition from thousands of Water Aid supporters which, along with their names, showed images of themselves either sitting on their own toilet or at organised WaterAid demonstrations sitting on a giant 'loo'.
