Annual review design for "Rewarding Journeys"

Sussex Community Foundation raises and manages funds on behalf of philanthropic donors and makes grants to local charities and community groups across Sussex.

In their 2015 Annual Review, Sussex Community Foundation wanted to highlight the connection between their donors and the people they fund.

Together we decided to focus on the journey of a selection of donors, exploring their personal motivations and rewards. Contributions from a leading professional and academic on the importance of philanthropy and the management of endowment funds help to give the review gravitas and depth.

We adopted the look of a considered financial report to reflect the theme of fund management. For the cover, we selected a rich-coloured, uncoated paper and applied a portion of the logo in a metallic ink for a traditional and refined feel.

Inside, bright, confident layouts and typography together with the careful use of the Foundation’s colour palette gave the whole review a professional feel.
