Challenge Water branding and materials

WaterAid Logo and project branding

Challenge Water is an exciting secondary school programme developed by WaterAid along with their UK water industry partners. The programme needed a new brand identity along with a range of project materials.

Engaging brand for innovative solutions

Challenge Water encourages young people to use their creativity and skills to come up with innovative solutions to local and global water issues.

This new WaterAid initiative for secondary schools needed an engaging brand to garner the interest of student teams from competing schools to sign up for the water challenge.

The challenge – save water

The project required a variety of branded materials and media which to use across a series of lessons, games, shows and activities. These would give pupils the opportunity to design a water-saving product and campaign.

Materials for the mission

We created a science and stencil themed logo and developed this concept to create a ‘mission’ file style with a dossier outlining the issues and presenting the challenge.

Typography and imagery enhance the theme, and we introduced a set of icons to make the campaign materials engaging, lively and fun. We applied the branding to various materials, including flyers, t-shirts, pens and pencils, a student workbook, exhibition posters, and a digital slideshow.
