CRM integration, membership, resource libraries and a design rethink for The Institute of Health Visiting website. IHV is a UK Centre of Excellence supporting the development of universally high-quality health visiting practice.
We have enjoyed a long relationship with the Institute of Health Visiting since their inception in 2012. In fact, we built their first website. The success of the Institute and their growing membership meant that they now needed an updated, responsive website with an entirely new architecture. The new structure needed to cope with the quantity of content they wanted to share with their fast growing membership.
Membership with CRM integration
Increasing membership meant that integration with their CRM – Salesforce, was a must. We also set up password protected content, integration with Eventbrite, a forum, and video and resource libraries.
The WordPress CMS is now happily managing a membership that has risen to almost 6,000, and is auto-synchronising content access according to member status.
Bringing the brand and content to life
We worked with the IHV brand – which is positive and professional, introducing a bright green as well as a number of other complementary secondary colours to liven up their pink and purple brand palette. Landing pages make full use of the new colours and we also developed a full set of icons to identify subject matter that is difficult to represent using photographs alone.
We used IHV’s excellent photography along with royalty-free images for describing more sensitive subject matter. We also employed colour treated photography, for example in the training section, to assist identification when delving into deeper levels of the site.
